Time for Modi to pick up his ‘Jholi’ and leave : Shatrughan Sinha

The verbal attacks on PM Modi has been intensified from day to day as the Lok Sabha polls are nearing the final phases. After Rahul, Priyanka, Mamata Benarjee and Mayawati, this is the turn of the actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha to take a jibe at the PM.

Taking a dig at PM Narendra Modi, former BJP and now Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha said, “It is time for him (PM Modi) to pick up his ‘jholi’ (bag) and go away.” Sinha had switched sides to join Congress, ending his 20-year-old association with the ruling BJP this year.

“Our honourable PM believes in shoot-and-scoot policy. When we ask him about employment, he talks about Pulwama…Why isn’t he answering the questions people want to know,” Sinha asked.

He even claimed that BJP veteran LK Advani had tears in his eyes when he was leaving but Advani didn’t stop him. Sinha said the difference between former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s time and PM Narendra Modi’s time is the difference between democracy and autocracy.
