WC Special : South Africa – Proteas has enough power to lift their first ICC trophy!

This is the team every cricket fan in the world watch out for I major tournaments for their impeccable abilities to destroy any team on a given day. But their failure in big games was inevitable so far and as usual South Africa is in the list of favourites for this World Cup too.

Team :- Faf Duplessis (Cap), Hashim Amla, Quinton Decock, Aiden Markaram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, JP Duminy, Dale Steyn, Chris Morris, Van der Dussen, Dwayne Pretorious, Tabraiz Shamsi, Andile Phehluwayo, Anrich Nortje

Strengths :- The extraordinary talent that the South African players possess is what stand them tall before the beginning of the every World Cup. Amla and Decock followed by Markaram and Duplessis is some batting that opposite team would stress to bowl for. Bowling department of the Proteas is the best in this World Cup with the likes of Steyn, Rabada, Ngidi, Phehlukwayo, Tahir and Nortje. The experience of Miller and Duminy in the middle in joining crazy talent of Van Der Dussen is really worrisome for the other teams. The captaincy skills of Dulpessis is an add-on.

Weaknesses :- Pressure…. The biggest enemy for the South African team in the mega events over so many years. They failed to overcome it every time they needed to do it for sure. Proteas has a bad habit of giving wickets in quick succession against the quality bowling attack and very few times they have recovered from the stage. Their bowlers has a problem of giving up at the end and their inability to defend big targets is the major issue. Absence of Devilliers created a big void in the middle to fill.

To lift the World Cup :- Identifying the best XI along with the management of pressure will sort out maximum problems for this team. If everyone perform their roles to their levels, it is a just a matter of time for South Africa to lift their first ever World Cup.

Expectations :- Sure shot Semi finalist & definite title favourite.
