Dhoni to join politics after retirement?

Now a days many actors and cricketers have started to take politics as their source of income and profession after their retirement. Coming to cricketers, already Gautham Gambhir is an MP. Also Ravindra Jadeja and Virender Sehwag have been indirectly supporting BJP. Also Jadeja’s wife is an active member of BJP. Latest news is that one more cricketer is going to join politics.

It is being said by the sources that M. S. Dhoni might join BJP after his retirement from cricket. According to those who know Dhoni well, the display of Balidaan insignia of Indian army can be considered as an indication for his intentions. Sporting army insignia on his gloves might be the effective way of portraying himself as a patriot and nationalist of first order. It also poses him as a lover of Indian army.

It is being said that this might be the last cricket World Cup for Dhoni as he has started his retirement. He is already staying away from longer versions of game and is only playing the limited ones. In his family, already Dhoni’s brother is a BJP member who had campaigned for BJP in the recent elections.

For the fans of Dhoni this news might give happiness as well as sadness. Sadness that Dhoni will not be playing any further. While the happiness is that he will be joining politics after retirement. How ever this has not yet been confirmed by the cricketer himself.
