Kabir Singh, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles is slated to release next month. Ahead of the big release, Kiara has opened up about replacing Tara in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial. Speaking about replacing Tara Sutaria in the upcoming film ‘Kabir Singh’, Kiara Advani revealed that she was first approached for the film but it later underwent several casting changes.
The recently released trailer caught every one’s attention in the Bollywood as they are waiting for this eagerly. Whether it’s Shahid’s grueling avatar, the intensity of the plot, the soulful music renditions or the striking chemistry between Shahid and Kiara, everything about the film has intrigued the viewers.
Kiara revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga approached her via a casting director after watching her work in Bharat Ane Nenu alongside Mahesh Babu. Kiara then did a screen test for the film and the director liked it. “I did ask the director why cast me again? He said because ‘I only see you’,” Kiara added. “He was convinced that only I could do this film,” she further said.
On the other side, Tara recently made her big screen debut with Punit Malhotra’s Student of the Year 2 alongside Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff which turned out as an utter disaster.
