AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy might not leave any of the unapproved structures present on the Krishna River Karakatta (Bund). While TDP leaders have tried hard to exploit Praja Vedika’s demolition by making it the center of all AP political debates, similar notices have been sent to the owners of a few other constructions along the river bed.
The Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) has served notices on 10 unapproved constructions and is preparing to add 20 more to the demolition list. These notices were sent to constructions from Prakasam Barrage to Tallayapalem. Former BJP MP Gokaraju Gangaraju’s Guest House, Pathuru Sudha Rani’s Guest House, Chandana Guest House, Tulasi Gardens, Tallayapalem’s Siva Swamy Ashram and few constructions in Venkatapalem are the ones served by the CRDA demolition notices.
Around 50 constructions have been found to be unapproved. CRDA authorities have been checking illegal constructions without permission or harming society and the environment. It feels like the YSRCP government is taking excellent measures over those who break the law and order and indulge in illegal operations such as building such unapproved structures. How the above-mentioned will react in the coming days to point out YSRCP is yet to be seen.
