Ace producers of Telugu Film Industry (TFI) Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namith Malhotra have announced Rs 500 Crore budget movie.
Going into the details, Telugu powerhouse Allu Aravind, ex-Phantom Films founder Madhu Mantena and Namith Malhotra, founder of Prime Focus studios have announced an ambitious three-part screen adaptation of ‘The Ramayana’.
According to reports, it is going to be one of the most expensive films to be ever made in Tollywood history. ‘The Ramayana’ will be shot in 3D and in three languages – Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The star cast of ‘The Ramayana’ is not finalized yet. Nitesh Tiwari, who earlier directed Dangal and Ravi Udyawar, who directed MOM, will jointly helm this massive project.
Sources say that the regular shooting will be started from early in 2020 and makers are planning to rope in actors from various film industries in the three-part film.
It is heard that the makers are targeting PAN India as well as the global audience. The first part of the big budget film is scheduled to release in 2021.
Pre-production includes reference work for scenes in Ayodhya and Lanka will be depicted in a wash of gold; Mithila will be green with Nepali architecture.
